From vine to wine

The grape varieties, the harvest

The vine varieties

Our vineyard is composed of big Manseng and small Manseng, Camaralet, Courbu et Lauzet  the typical grape varieties of the Jurançon.

With the big Manseng, we can produce dry wines appreciated because of their freshness and their fruuity taste but also mellow wines well balanced between the sweet and the acidity.

As for the small Manseng, it is associated with mellow wines to liqueur-like wines whose aromas make you think of candied fruits or honey, are the expression of a singular subtlety.

The average age of our vines is 45 years.

The harvest

In the rhythm of the nature, we wait for the maximal maturity of the grapes to begin the harvests.

They are manual and are in the beginning of October for our dry Jurançon until the last days of November for our marrowy wines.

But it also depends on our vinification to make a grand-cru. All is essential to produce a perfect wine.
